The client was really keen to get people in Macclesfield trying new and exciting dishes. They specialise in putting an original twist on European classics and the idea of offering "tasters" in the form of an amuse bouche was the inspiration for the lighthearted brand.

We always work best when we can gather data and feedback from consumers on every aspect of a project. We created feedback forms which are handed out with the bill and voucher-led flyers which can be recorded to gain insights into their overall effectiveness.

We couldn't very well re-brand an entire business and not deliver on the digital side of things too. As budgets were limited, we have settled for a simple one-page site which is optimised for SEO and every click is tracked. Menu downloads are by far and away the most popular clicks on the site.

Not only have we designed a suite of menus for food, drinks and take out food, we have also worked with the client to write every item on the menu and even worked with them to ensure that everything on the menu is consistent with their new position.

Everything in the cafe from the awning outside to the "mind the step" sign near the bar has been carefully typeset and designed to ensure the whole branded experience is consistent. The result was an overnight transformation with vinyl-embellished blackboards, framed messages in the toilets and even a logo-shaped cappuccino stencil.
