In 2012 the Royal Cornwall Museum created a brand new immersive exhibition space within their Truro site to show off their astounding collection of artifacts from the ancient world. As part of this refit, we were asked to bring their star attraction (an ancient Egyptian mummy) to life through an animation.

Using the drawings and hieroglyphics on the mummy's coffin, we told the story of Iset-Tayef-Nakht's journey in the afterlife through animation.

Working closely with the museum's experts, we pieced together the story of Iset-Tayef-Nakht's spiritual journey from the coffin's ancient artwork.

The project was immensely fun and satisfying to work on, and the effect of the re-animated story on the children visiting the collection is magical to watch.
